Kenyi Cichlid (Maylandia lombardoi)

The Maylandia lombardoi is a magnificent fish! All fry are hatched blue while the males change colors to a beautiful yellow with striking black bars and some black accents on the fins these fish are a great addition to your Mbuna tank

African cichlids are adapted to alkaline Rift Lake water; low pH can stress them and dull their colors.

Kenyi Cichlids are omnivorous but have a strong preference for a herbivorous diet, primarily algae.

Kenyi Cichlids are highly territorial and aggressive, especially males. To mitigate aggression, they should be housed in a spacious aquarium with plenty of hiding spots.

With proper care, Kenyi Cichlids can live up to 10 years in captivity
